I have been told the the Chinese word for “crisis” is composed of two Chinese characters representing “danger” and “opportunity”.

Hi Doranne. It’s funny you should mention that. Before posting the blog, I actually came across the same thing in the book I was reading, The Soul of Money. In fact, I thought it was so appropriate I was planning to add it as an end note to the blog. But when I got online to verify the fact, I learned it wasn’t accurate. I guess it just proves you can’t believe everything you read (or hear)! ~ Salina

Thank you, Addie. I hope I remember to remind myself of it next time I sense a crisis approaching! ~ Salina
